We invite you to spend the Feast with us this year in Harrison, Arkansas. Nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Harrison has that small town charm, with a town square, yet with the amenities of a city much larger.
The Feast of Tabernacles will be held at the beautiful Durand Center in Downtown Harrison.
Harrison is a city located in Boone County, Arkansas. It is the county seat and is named after General M. LaRue Harrison, a surveyor that laid out the city along Crooked Creek at Stifler Springs. Harrison is also the home of North Arkansas College. The City covers 10.2 square miles with a population of 13,163 (2012). Temperatures in Harrison are hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
Harrison allows you the opportunity to enjoy all that the area has to offer which has a variety of things to do like golfing, biking or hiking among the Ozark Mountains, site seeing by horseback riding, Trout fishing or canoeing on the Buffalo National River or a slower pace of strolling through Harrison’s downtown historic district.
If you prefer the indoors then think about visiting Boone County Heritage Museum, Marine Corps Legacy Museum, Mystic Caverns or see one of the amazing performances at the Lyric Theater.
